The delegation attending the FAO Regional Conference for Asia and the Pacific held a Field Trip to Nana Agro Farm located at the Agricultural Development Area, Kampung Tungku and Barramundi Group Brunei Sendirian Berhad in Serasa.

During the visit to Nana Agro site, the delegates were briefed on the method of growing vegetables using a protected greenhouse growing system. The farm is hoped to be able to increase the domestic supply of vegetables and support food security initiatives in the country.

The delegates also visited Barramundi Group Brunei Sendirian Berhad, Broodstock Development Centre, Serasa. Barramundi supports food security in the country and promotes sustainable aquaculture practices, contributing to economic diversification.
